I've been following your excellent site for years. Congratulations on providing such an outstanding platform and information gateway for such an important topic.

I'm writing to you today to offer the services of my company, The Burroughs Group, to help with marketing, web design and digital asset creation to help launch new and emerging companies, products and technology.

We've been creating marketing assets and branding companies for over twenty years. From traditional print design to web development, 3D illustration and animation, multimedia, DVD production and copy writing, I'm positive we can help put companies on a professional marketing track, while working around the typical under-funded and often chaotic atmosphere of startups.

We're used to limited start-up funds and working with people and products who need “just about everything” when it comes to launching a new product. In addition to all the “regular” startup items these new companies need, the alternative energy sector has an added component that must be dealt with before they launch, and that's the “it's too good to be true” mind-set of potential customers.

Products are, in a large part, successful because the marketing is believable and positioned correctly. I believe that in this industry, a whole lot of people are going to be skeptical, to say the least. Launching products with that “low-budget look” will be disastrous. Consumers will need to be “sold” on the idea of these products. To overcome a life-time of skepticism and a wary public, these new technologies are going to need professionally done illustrations, cutting-edge animations, educational tools and a high-end websites that can deliver everything, that's easy to maintain and update.

In short, we can do all these things and more. And we're willing to offset some (if not all) upfront costs for future commissions, stock, and/or products. Each product/company provides unique challenges and rewards, and I do not have a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe in the work that you're doing, and I also enjoy working on projects that may actually help humanity, rather than selling another gimmick that nobody needs.

We are not engineers, and while I'm hopeful about this technology, I have no idea if it actually works or not. Following you over the years, I believe you to be a honest, intelligent and dedicated man that is instrumental in sharing technology and resources for one of the most important areas to the world. If you find that our services could help some of your contacts, please pass our information along. In some cases, perhaps one of your companies would only need an animation, but our clients find it convenient to have everything from web to multimedia production under one roof.

We are not affiliated with any larger corporation, nor do we have any military or government contracts. We're happy to sign non-disclosures and work closely with people trying to make a positive difference.
