Larry Oja Discusses Common Duct Electrolytic Oxyhydrogen
Addressed the ExtraOrdinary Technology conference in Salt Lake City on
Thursday, July 29, 2004, 5:00 pm. Perhaps the most well-presented paper at
the conference, on a technology that is probably furthest along in the R&D
and commercial sales and applications behind it.

ER 1200 Brown's Gas
Machine manufactured

Larry gave a well-organized
presentation on the production of common duct electrolytic oxyhydrogen, often
referred to as Browns Gas after the researcher Yull Brown.
Browns Gas is produced from a special process of electrolysis of water
that does not separate the hydrogen and oxygen.
The resulting gas is a high-energy mixture that exhibits unusual
properties not found in typical mixtures of H2 and O2.
One of the first researchers to describe common duct electrolytic
oxy-hydrogen was Dr. William Rhodes. In
the early 1960s, Dr. Rhodes received two
U.S.
patents (3262872 and 3310483) for methods of producing this unique gas.
He stated Of all elements, hydrogen and oxygen should hold no secrets.
Yet, in this example they do and have been troublesome."
Dr. Rhodes currently lives in
Arizona
. (See: Common
Duct Electrolytic Oxy-Hydrogen)
Yull Brown spent many years working with the gas in
Australia
. He gave many public
demonstrations and received his own patents (4010777 and 4081656).
Until his death in 1998, he was considered the worlds foremost expert
on the gas.
Larry Ojas report was based mostly on the work of researcher George
Wiseman of Eagle-Research.
Wiseman has built many Browns Gas electrolyzers and has written
several books on the subject. Eagle-Research
has licensed their Browns Gas Technology to the WaterTorch Collective, Ltd.
in 2001, who manufactures Browns Gas machines.
Larry is a distributor for the WaterTorch Collective.
Larry had on display an ER-1200 WaterTorch (Browns Gas machine)
manufactured by the WaterTorch Collective. His
display had a clear cover that allowed people to view inside the machine.
He mentioned that some companies have been making oxy-hydrogen generators
for 40 years, particularly small machines used in the jewelry and dental
industries.
He listed the following companies which sell Browns Gas machines:
Arizona Hydrogen, Better World Technologies (Dennis Lee), Best Korea,
Best Norinco, Oweld, Mario Di Maio, Generating Solutions, Okai, Watergas, Stan
Rubinstein, Siam Water Flame Co., H2O2000, Eagle-Research, and Aqua
Torch.
What is Browns Gas? Larry
quoted George Wiseman, who says the answer depends on who you talk to and what
you're really asking.
The scientific answer for the constituents of Brown's Gas is:
The total mixture of gasses that
evolve by electrolyzing water in an electrolyzer specifically designed NOT to
separate the gasses.
The BG mixture consists of
diatomic hydrogen, diatomic oxygen and water vapor.
Technology Innovator Answer:
Eagle-Research Inc. defines
Brown's Gas (BG) as: The total
mixture of gasses that evolve by electrolyzing water in an electrolyzer
specifically designed NOT to separate the gasses. The
BG mixture consists of diatomic hydrogen, monatomic hydrogen, diatomic oxygen,
monatomic oxygen, water vapor and electrically expanded water.
Brown's Gas Users Answer:
The BG flame is a unique method
for transmitting electrical energy directly into the atomic structure of
materials, producing effects often unobtainable by any other means.
In his presentation, Larry pointed out several myths
about the gas, including making an atmospheric engine and using it for heating.
He described some applications that Browns gas does well, such as
welding (other than Iron), cutting, pre-heating, flame drilling, flame
polishing, and ceramics.
He stated the gas can also be used for the following:
-
Pure new H2O manufacturing
-
Detox H2O
-
Hydrated H2O for health
-
Muscle relaxing (as demonstrated by a Spokane
Chiropractor)
-
Speed healing of wounds
-
Helps plants germinate
-
Neutralization of radioactive waste
-
Create new industrial materials
-
Transmutation (two ways)
-
Toxic waste disposal (can vaporize PVCs)
-
Recoverable ore
-
Underwater breathing gas
-
Makes metal rust resistant
-
Can waterproof cement
-
Turn feldspar into moonstone
He described some of the advantages of using Browns
Gas as a replacement for other torch gases:
less cost, increases productivity, safer.
He stated that Browns Gas cuts iron 30% faster than acetylene and that
it cuts dirty metal without sputtering.
A video clip showed George Wiseman cutting and welding with the gas.
Larry also showed pictures of the gas being used to make glass bottles.
After the presentation, Larry displayed the torch at his table and
allowed people to view the machine and ask questions.
Later in the conference, he gave a demonstration of the gas.
Browns gas was easily able to punch small holes in coins provided by
the attendees. Larry showed the gas
being lighter than air by filling a bag and releasing it.
It quickly disappeared from sight. He
also showed the gas cutting holes in steel.
Larry Ojas presentation was one of the best
prepared at the conference. He was
easy to understand, gave a slide show combined with short video clips, had a
device there to examine, had time for questions from the audience, and gave a
hands-on demonstration
