G.M.'s Certification of Non-Encumbrance and Non-Revocation
At the commencement of this project on May 26, 2004, G.M. agreed to submit a
statement for us to post on this site certifying that to the best of his
due-diligence knowledge there are no encumbrances on the technology that he is
sharing publicly here. The Gray patents are expired, and the ideas of how
to use permanent magnets in the system are contributed by G.M.
He also agreed on May 26 to include in that statement a promise that he will not
revoke the permission he has given us to open source this technology. It
was on that agreement that we commenced this project on May 26, 2004.
He has since (June 1, 2004) signed an NDA with a manufacturing company to bring
a related technology to market, so he may be somewhat limited in how much he can
help here. He does have several very capable and brilliant friends who are
watching the progress here and offering helpful advice.
