Bowman Magnet Motor Open Sourcing Project

Status: Project commenced Dec. 2003 with claim to a working device, which later, after three months, ended up running down due to demagnetization. No replications were accomplished though several were attempted.

Belt System Not a Good Idea

I had to change my motor. The belt system was not working well, too much friction. Got some gears yesterday (off the shelf) and will fit the whole thing again this weekend.

Hi Group,

enclosed a photo of my magmot.

The magnets are all single adjustable and I'm waiting for the actuator magnets (should have them next week)

I'm afraid I haven't understood exactly how to do all the steps of balancing. At the moment I have all the mags. in attracting mode and don't feel I can get them to turn freely. If I have one of the small rotors in repulsing mode it seems a lot better. Can someone give me a few hints?
