Bowman Magnet Motor Open Sourcing Project

Status: Project commenced Dec. 2003 with claim to a working device, which later, after three months, ended up running down due to demagnetization.  No replications were accomplished though several were attempted.

  • Unit A.R 1-2003 - Andreas Rogge of Germany; has built and assembled frame, rotors & gears; waiting for magnets.
  • Unit S.U. 1-2004 - Svein Utne - following Calloway design
  • Unit M.H 1-2003 - Mark Hayton - Focusing on replicating as close to Unit 0 as possible, while also using off-the shelf components.
  • Unit W.J 1-2003 - Wayne Jones of Canada - has most components, preparing to assemble.
  • Unit D.M 1-2003 - Douglas Mann - working on a 1.5-scale version of Unit 0
