Ken Hegemann's MXLO Magnetic Motor replicationMXLO Magnet Motor Open Sourcing Project

Summary: This open sourcing project sponsored by Pure Energy Systems, based on a design by MXLO, commenced Mar. 3, 2004 and was active for about a month.  At least 14 (8 verified) replications were built, none of which worked, proving that MXLO plans are neither easy nor complete, contrary to what they insinuate on their site, which now redirects to the U.S. government's renewable energy site. On July 10, a hint about shielding was given that was not contained in the plans.

Hi Sterling:

Yes you can use my feed back on the MXLO project.

Enclosed is a picture of my assembled unit.

I even invested in a precision ground end mill to embed the magnets in precise order.  Results? NADA

You would think that with all my manufacturing experience and my other inventions that are world wide I should be a qualified developer if the plans were correct.  You can check me out at www.lilorbits.com

Built to Specs, with Attention to Detail; Doesn't Work

Hi Sterling:

Yes I purchased their "plans" and assembled them exactly as instructed.
But it does not work.  I revisited their web site and I see they have included a Copper strip in addition to the aluminum strip.  It seems these plans change daily!

I used neodymium magnets to the size they stipulated and spent much time in machining the whole contraption.  There is no free spinning
regardless how I place the fields.  They keep saying "patience is needed to fine tune the apparatus"

Have you gotten any feed back from others who have purchased these plans?

Your friend,

Ed Anderson
