Ken Hegemann's MXLO Magnetic Motor replicationMXLO Magnet Motor Open Sourcing Project

Summary: This open sourcing project sponsored by Pure Energy Systems, based on a design by MXLO, commenced Mar. 3, 2004 and was active for about a month.  At least 14 (8 verified) replications were built, none of which worked, proving that MXLO plans are neither easy nor complete, contrary to what they insinuate on their site, which now redirects to the U.S. government's renewable energy site. On July 10, a hint about shielding was given that was not contained in the plans.

Inexpensive Chinese Source: Yuxiang

Nice site.

But as for cheap, Chinese magnet manufactures you can get several neos for a dollar of the size we are talking about. Should be able to buy the neos from china for about the same as it would cost to buy the ceramic locally.

I've found them to have good service.

Though I'm sure there are others out there I'd suggest we get together and do a bulk buy from yuxiang. (with magnets from china the cost of UPS courier does raise the price I admit, plus both times I had to do an EFT which also cost a bit)

Actually when I say 'we' I'm not sure I include myself as I have more than enough neos that should be close enough as it is.
