Incompatibilities
The ScanGauge II works on most 1996 and newer cars and light trucks
originally sold in North America.

Incompatible Vehicles
|
| It will not work on 2005 or newer Lotus Elise. |
| It will not work on 1996 and 1997 Ford, GM and Dodge
trucks with diesel engines. |
| It will not work on 2004.5 through 2005 Dodge Diesel
Trucks. |
| It will not work on 1996 VW TDI with a Black ECU. |
| It will not work on 1996 Mercedes. |

Partial Compatibility
Some vehicles do not provide all of the possible information.
The following list applies to the vehicle that fall within this
category:

| About 10% of vehicles provide Fuel Pressure (FPR). |
| About 50% of vehicles provide
Manifold-Absolute-Pressure (MAP). |
1997 to 1998 Ford Explorer and Ranger
- No Speed, Distance or Fuel Economy information (MPH, MPG, Miles
driven). |
Multiple displacement engines will report incorrect
fuel economy and fuel use when some of the cylinders are disabled. |
| Jeep Liberty with the diesel engine does not report
fuel use or trip functions and some of the gauges. |
INTERNATIONAL
This is far from comprehensive. The best way to determine if the gauge
is OBDII would be to contact the manufacturer for the make/model/country.

Incompatible Vehicles

| AUSTRALIA: It will not work on 2002 Toyota Landcruiser
FZJ105R (4.5 petrol six-cylinder). It is M-OBD, not OBD2 compatible. |
| AUSTRALIA: Doesnt work on 2004 diesel 3.2 L
Mitsubishi Pajero. |
